My Story
Welcome to my Adventure
St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, where it all began. Just an island girl with dreams of connecting with the underwater world. Hailing from a family of ocean lovers but being one of the few who wanted to go deeper. Here is where I'll share my adventures with you. Thank you for being a part of my journey!
My Passion for Diving
The seed was planted in high school. Being a teenager with various talents, there are so many options and the world is your oyster! What will you be in this world? Some of my answers were typical, such as a teacher. With a slew of athletic ability, there were also thoughts of playing professional tennis or volleyball. A marine biologist maybe. My love of technology guided me to the world of IT.
Many years after graduating from college, I found out that my oldest brother had been scuba certified for several years. "Take me out", I said and I dragged our other brother with me. At the first draw of oxygen under Coki Point Beach waters.....I was hooked!
Start Where You Are
My passion for diving started with a love for the water. All I've ever known are weekends at the beach. I always ventured a bit further out despite my mother's beck and call to come back closer to shore. Constantly looking for all the interesting creatures that I knew were just one more kick away. You don't have the dive all the way in. Grab a mask and wander with curiosity. You too, may catch the fever!
Every day, meet yourself where you are. My stories and tips might not be for where you are, but you can adapt them to your own adventure. What challenges you today?
